Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This policy explains how personal data is handled when you use the eMXport website (https://www.emxport.com), ask for a quote or contact us about a migration. eMXport is delivered and managed in partnership with The Possibility Partnership Limited.
Who is responsible
For enquiries and website contact data, The Possibility Partnership Limited acts as the controller. The Possibility Partnership Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10165872). Registered office: 6 Ferranti Court, Staffordshire Technology Park, Stafford, Staffordshire, England, ST18 0LQ.
You can reach us at info@emxport.com or via thepossibilitypartnership.com.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Contact and quote details — name, email address, message content, optional marketing preference, and any source/destination/size details you include.
- Spam-protection data — tokens and related technical signals from Cloudflare Turnstile when you submit a form.
- Analytics data (only with consent) — approximate location, device/browser type, pages viewed, referral source, and interaction events such as quote calculator use or successful contact form sends. We do not intentionally send your name or email address to Google Analytics.
- Technical logs — infrastructure providers may process IP addresses and request metadata needed to operate hosting, APIs and email delivery.
Why we collect it
- To respond to migration enquiries and quote requests (legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract).
- To protect forms against spam and abuse (legitimate interests).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, where you have consented to analytics cookies (consent).
- To send product or service updates only if you opt in to marketing contact (consent). You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing info@emxport.com.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use:
- Essential — needed for security and basic site operation (for example, remembering your cookie choice in local storage).
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-LNBZ919XBX) to measure traffic and conversions. These run only after you choose Accept analytics. If you choose Reject analytics, we instruct Google’s Consent Mode to keep analytics storage denied.
You can change your mind at any time via Cookie settings in the site footer. Browser controls can also block or clear cookies.
Google Analytics
When analytics consent is granted, we load Google’s gtag.js library and may record page views and events such as quote calculator completion and successful contact form submissions. IP anonymisation is enabled in our configuration. Google may process data in the UK, EEA, US or other countries under its terms as an independent controller/processor for Analytics. See Google’s documentation for details of their processing.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the site. They process data only as needed to provide their services:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, contact API and email sending (SES).
- Cloudflare — Turnstile spam protection.
- Google — Analytics, only when you consent.
- Email and security gateways used by our team to receive and handle messages.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Contact and quote enquiries are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable business records, then deleted or anonymised. Analytics retention follows the settings in our Google Analytics property. Cookie preference is stored in your browser until you clear it or change it.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses) or your consent for analytics tools.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or your local supervisory authority. To exercise rights relating to eMXport website data, email info@emxport.com.
Children
This website is aimed at business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
